Kejadian memilukan itu terjadi pada Senin, 19/09/2016, di rumah keluarga tersebut di Desa Tanjung Muning, Kecamatan Gunung Megang, Kabupaten Muara Enim, Sumatera Selatan.
Ibu
sekaligus pelaku dalam peristiwa ini bernama Jumira, 36 tahun,
sedangkan anaknya yang telah tewas Bernama Dilla , 7 tahun. Pada
mulanya, sekira pukul 17.00 WIB, Dilla pulang dari main dan meminta
makan kepada ibunya. Sang ibu kemudian mengambilkan anaknya itu sepiring
nasi dengan lauk tumis kangkung dan tahu.
Rupanya
Dilla tidak suka dengan lauk yang dimasak oleh ibunya itu, kemudian dia
makan sambil menghentak-hentakan kakinya ke lantai rumah serta berkata
mau makan dengan Ayam Goreng .
Entah
kerasukan setan apa, Jumira naik pitam mendengar perkataan anaknya itu.
Bahkan Jumira menantang anaknya, bila memang tidak mau makan ingin
mati Jumira siap untuk menghabisi nyawa anaknya. “Sini kalu nak mati,
aku bacok,” Jawab Jumira setelah mendengar keluhan Dilla.
Ancaman
Jumira ternyata tidak main-main, dipenuhi dengan perasaan marah
terhadap anaknya, Jumira mengambil parang di dapur lalu dengan sadis
membacokkan parang tersebut ke bagian Kepala dan perut Dilla yang sedang
makan, sebanyak empat kali. Dilla menerima serangan ibu kandungnya
akhirnya tersungkur jatuh dan tewas di tempat.
Mendapati
kegaduhan di rumah Jumira, para tetangga kemudian berdatangan ke rumah
tersebut lalu menemukan Dilla sudah tewas berlumuran darah di tangan ibu
kandungnya. Warga kemudian melaporkan kejadian tersebut ke polisi,
selang beberapa saat kemudian, petugas polisi dari Polsek Gunung Megang
datang mengamankan Jumira beserta parang yang dipakai untuk membunuh
anaknya.
Kepada
petugas, Jumira mengatakan bahwa anaknya itu tidak bisa menerima
kenyataan bahwa keluarga mereka adalah keluarga miskin yang tidak bisa
memberikan makanan enak setiap hari. “Dia mungkin pengen makan-makanan
seperti yang ada di restoran, namun mau bagaimana kami ini orang susah.
Tapi mungkin dia tidak bisa menerima kenyataan itu” kata Jumira.
Jumira
juga bercerita bahwa Dilla sudah biasa makan sambil menghentak-hentakan
kakinya ke lantai hingga membuat Jumira marah. “Dia makan sambil marah
dan menghentak-hentakan kakinya ke lantai rumah dan itu sudah sering dia
lakukan di depan saya.” pungkasnya.
